What happens after you submit a request

Every request follows the same four-step process, so you always know where things stand.

A short hold period in case the request wasn't you, or you change your mind.

Data erased

Your account and personal data are permanently deleted, and we email you a confirmation.

Request deletion

Submit your deletion request

Use the same email or mobile number registered on your account so we can locate it.

What gets deleted vs. what we must keep

Indian tax and consumer-protection law require us to retain certain business records even after your account is deleted.

  • Saved addresses and phone numbers
  • Wishlist, cart, and browsing preferences
  • Saved payment references (never store full card/UPI details)
  • Marketing and notification preferences

📄 Retained for legal compliance

  • GST invoices and tax records (as required by Indian law)
  • Order and transaction history needed for accounting
  • Records related to any open dispute, refund, or warranty claim
  • Information legally required for fraud prevention
